Ribi Holds Off Kim in Whistler

From Whistler, CAN

(November 23, 2025) – Bianca Ribi and Ariane Chiasson slid to gold in Whistler after holding off South Korea’s Yooran Kim and Eunji Yeon.

Ribi led after one heat, with Erica Voss in second and Kim in third, just .18 back.

In the second heat, Kim put down what would be the quickest run of the heat to take the lead and then hold it after Voss and Brynn McNabb couldn’t match the time.

Ribi’s second effort was just quick enough to hold back the Korean duo by just .05 and take gold to open the 2025/2026 North American Cup two-woman season.

Kim took silver and Voss bronze.

Viktoria Cernanska and Lucia Mokrasova finished fourth, ahead of two Jamaican teams. Mica Moore and Chloe Whylie were fifth and Adanna Johnson and Audra Segree sixth.
