Ribi Wins in Park City Monobob Action

From Park City, USA

(November 30, 2025) – Canada’s Bianca Ribi won the third race of the IBSF North American Cup monobob season in a one-heat race due to snow.

The race kicked off with Tunisia’s Sophie Ghorbal, who held the lead only for a few minutes before Japan’s Yu Ishikawa took over. Canada’s Erica Voss was the third slider off and took the lead handily from Ishikawa.

Voss held that lead against Latvia’s Amelija Kotane before Ribi out-slid her teammate by .4 to take a lead she would not let go.

Taiwan’s Sin-Rong Lin, in the middle of a strong start to her season, got within .15 form the tenth starting spot, and that’s as close as anyone else would get as Ribi took gold and Lin silver.

The gold was Ribi’s third in NAC monobob action. She’s never finished off of the podium in the discipline on the tour.

Lin’s silver was her second straight in monobob.

The battle for bronze ended up being a two-way tie between South Korea’s Yooran Kim and Jamaica’s Mica Moore. For Kim, it was her fourth bronze in the discipline while Moore’s bronze was her first medal as a pilot.

Voss finished fifth while Slovakia’s Viktoria Cernanska rounded out the top six.
