From Lake Placid, USA
(January 6, 2026) – Bianca Ribi and Brynn McNabb cruised to victory in Lake Placid to win their second gold in two days.
Ribi and McNabb had the quick start in both heats. Ribi drove to a .29 lead over South Korea’s Yooran Kim and Eunji Jeon.
The second heat one again saw Kim put down a good slide, but with Ribi out-driving Kim by .12 for a combined .41 second victory.
Taiwan’s Sin-Rong Lin and Song-En Lin slid to third, 1.03 seconds off the pace.
Jamaica’s Mica Moore and Chloe Whylie were fourth, with Latvia’s Amelija Kotane and Justine Berzina fifth, tied with Thailand’s Agnese Campeol and Paethong Wannakhot.
