(January 26, 2026) – Grady Mercer clinched the 2025/2026 North American Cup two-man season title with a victory in the season finale in Lake Placid.
Mercer and Seth Baylus had the quick start time in both heats, and Mercer the best drive at every split along the way on the way to a 2.25 second victory over Braeden Holcombe and Chapman Beaird in what was Holcombe and Beaird’s first race together.
John Ellridge III and Brandon Mayes were the only other team in the six sled field to make it down safely and finished third, 5.81 seconds back.
Mercer took the season two-man NAC title ahead of Canadian Jay Dearborn and Brazil’s Edson Bindilatti, with Jamaica’s Shane Pitter and Trinidad & Tobago’s Axel Brown fourth and fifth.
