From Park City, USA
(Nov. 20, 2018) – Rudy Rinaldi swept the 2-man North American Cup bobsled program in Park City, adding a Race 4 gold medal to go with his Race 3 gold.
The Monegasque pilot was the quickest in both heats on his way to a .34 victory over Canada’s Chris Spring. The silver medal for Spring was his second in a row, and his 19th consecutive NAC 2-man top-six. Spring has 14 NAC medals in that time dating back to December 2009.
Switzerland’s Michael Vogt finished a career-best third to finish out the podium.
Brad Hall of Great Britain finished fourth, ahead of Geoff Gadbois and Lamin Deen who rounded out the top six.
Hunter Church finished ninth to place two American sleds in the top ten, with Tyler Hickey (12th) and Frank Del Duca (14th) completing the American effort.
Taylor Austin missed a top ten by .15, settling for 11th.
