(Nov. 20, 2018) – For the second time in as many races, American Andrew Blaser won gold in North American Cup action.
Blaser was the quickest in both heats on his way to a .73 second win over teammate Max DeLance. DeLance finished with a silver medal in just his second IBSF international competition.
Australian Nick Timmings finished with a bronze medal, only .04 ahead of Race 3 medalist Aaron Victorian of Canada.
Ander Mirambell finished fifth in his final race of 2018. Prior to his first run on Tuesday Mirambell announced that he would be taking the rest of the year off due to a back injury. He will travel back to Spain to be further evaluated.
Irish slider Brendan Doyle finished a career-best sixth.
Chris Strup finished ninth to help put three Americans in the top ten, while teammate Daniel Barefoot finished 12th.
Blake Enzie finished seventh as the second Canadian slider in the top ten, while Kyle Donsberger finished 15th and Jeremiah Huo 17th to round out the Canadian effort.
