Form Park City, USA
(Jan. 19, 2019) – Felix Keisinger swept both sides of the Park City doubleheader, cruising to victory in the sixth Intercontinental Cup race of the season.
In a one-heat race due to heavy snow a day prior, Keisinger tied for the quickest at the start, and finished well ahead of Seunggi Jung to win his seventh ICC race in his last eight attempts dating back to the 2017/2018 season.
Jung finished second, making it his sixth top four finish in as many races on the ICC season. He leads bronze medalist Craig Thompson in the Intercontinental Cup season points with two races to go, both in Lake Placid.
Wengang Yan of China finished fourth, ahead of Russian Egor Veselov and German Alexander Gassner.
Mike Rogals led the way for another strong finish for the United States. Rogals finished tied for seventh with German Felix Seibel, while Nathan Crumpton and Andrew Blaser finished ninth and tenth to put all three Americans in the top ten.
For Canada, Mark Lynch was the top performer in 12th, ahead of teammates Patrick Rooney in 15th and Kyle Murray in 17th.
Stefan Squire finished 16th for Great Britain.
