Austin Wins 4th Straight 4-man Gold

Jan. 8, 2020 – Taylor Austin took his fourth IBSF North American Cup gold medal, cruising to victory in Lake Placid.

The Canadian was the quickest in both heats on his way to a 1.22 second victory over three time Olympian Nick Cunningham.

Cunningham, making his first 4-man start in Lake Placid since January of 2018, had the second quickest time in both heats.

American Geoff Gadbois finished third, .4 behind Nick Cunningham. Bryan Berghorn came out of retirement to finish fourth.

Jeff McKeen finished fifth, .09 behind Berghorn.

Patrick Norton crashed on the second half of his run and scored a DNF.
